Yoga inspired by the teachings of B.K.S.Iyengar

Everyone regardless of age, sex and physical condition can practice yoga. Unlike many other forms of exercise, which can strain muscles and bones, yoga gently rejuvenates the body.

Yoga is a 5,000-year-old art and science of bringing the mind, body and spirit into balance. The practice of yoga postures and yogic breathing helps us to learn how to be in the present moment and this in turn assists in calming the restless mind in order to allow it to begin to turn inward, journeying toward our inner self.

A regular Yoga practice will:

  • Enhance muscle tone and flexibility.
  • Increase awareness of your body's correct postural alignment.
  • Allow you to experience a balance of energy in your body.
  • Develop a stronger, more flexible spine.
  • Enhance and balance circulatory, respiratory, digestive and hormonal systems.
  • Relax your body and mind allowing both to recover from fatigue or weakness and the stress of daily life.
  • Boost metabolism, lymphatic circulation and hormonal secretions and bring about a chemical balance in the body.
  • Offer a sense of inner peace.
