The physical practice (asanas) develop strength and flexibility, meditation calms the mind, pranayama (breathing) connects us to the present moment, and savasana allows us to relax completely.

 

Barbara Fotherby is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and is trained in classical hatha yoga.   She received her EWYT350 certification and YES certification from East to West Yoga  in Toronto.

 

Barbara teaches beginner to intermediate levels in her classes

which incorporate the use of props, allowing the poses to be

adapted to everyone's level.
